Full name: State budgetary professional educational institution of the Kaliningrad region “School (technical school) of the Olympic reserve”

Short name: GBPOU KO “Olympic Reserve School”, GBPOU KO UOR

History of creation: initially, the State institution of additional education "Regional specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve in judo and sambo" was created by the resolution of the administration of the Kaliningrad region dated October 08, 2002 No. 502.

Later, by order of the Ministry of Health of the Kaliningrad Region of August 29, 2007, No. 225, the state institution of additional education “Regional specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve in judo and sambo” was renamed into the State educational institution of secondary vocational education of the Kaliningrad region “School of the Olympic reserve”.

Later in 2015, by order of the Sports Agency, the State educational institution of secondary vocational education of the Kaliningrad region "School of the Olympic reserve" was renamed into the State budgetary educational institution of the Kaliningrad region "School (technical school) of the Olympic reserve".

And finally, in 2022, by order of the Ministry of Sports of the Kaliningrad Region, the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Kaliningrad Region "School (Technical School) of the Olympic Reserve" was named after the Honored Master of Sports of Russia A.A. Shumilin. By Order of the Ministry of Sports of the Kaliningrad Region dated 08/15/2022 No. 128, the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Kaliningrad Region "School (Technical school) of the Olympic Reserve" was renamed into the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Kaliningrad region "School (Technical School) of the Olympic Reserve" named after the Honored Master of Sports of Russia A.A. Shumilin."
